Sausage & Relish Pizza Recipe


  • Fresh or store-bought pizza dough
  • 1 or 2 links of hot Italian sausage, casing removed, crumbled, and par cooked in a pan
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh mozzarella (refrigerate for 15 minutes for easier cutting) or your favorite shredded pizza mix
  • Fourth Creek Relish, approximately half a jar for a 12 inch pizza


Strain Pepper Relish briefly using a fine mesh strainer to remove excess liquid. Use Fourth Creek Relish in place of tomato sauce and cover the pizza with shredded mozzarella and hot Italian sausage. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes, and at the 8-minute mark throw some fresh basil on top. We recommend the use of a pizza “screen” rather than a stone for even cooking and easy cleanup.
